3. Three Ships Of Berik - Part I: Calling To Arms And Fighting The Battle

[Acording to the Roman storyteller Jordanes, the Gothic Tribes gatheres unter the flag of their leader Berik. From their Motherland up in the North they sailed away with three ships to invade the christian Rome like pagan crusaders. The crew on the three ships were ancestors of three legendary Gothic tribes calles Ostrogoths, Visigoths and Gepids. The christian Rome empire feared the Goths and monks identified the Goths with Gog, a heathen chief mentioned the Bible. The Gothic king Theoderik founded his kingdom in Italy year 488 CE. Althoug the aristocracy of Italy and Spain often claimed their heritage back to the Goth the word gothic was later assciated with darkness and paganism. The Gothic god was Wotan or -odin and his spear insired fear and terror. During the Romanticism the Gothic art was revalued and become synonyme with art and inspiration. The renaissance of the Gothic spirit have made the three ships of Berik sail once again.]

Il mistero di Lemuria e la Società Teosofica (a cura di Eugenio Giordano)

Il continente perduto di Lemuria venne per la prima volta studiato dallo scienziato M.P.L.Sclater intorno al 1850, costui ipotizzò che in epoche preistoriche esistesse un continente emerso nel cuore dell'oceano Indiano coincidente con le attuali Madagascar, Sumatra e Ceylon. La prova dell'esistenza di Lemuria derivava dall'osservazione in queste isole dell'oceano Indiano di un lemure comune, una scimmia antropomorfa, che viveva inizialmente sul continente quando era ancora emerso e che poi si sarebbe diffuso sulle isole dopoche questo continente venne sommerso dall'oceano. Secondo il naturalista Wallace che studiava i marsupiali il continente di Lemuria sarebbe esistito nell'oceano Pacifico tra la attuale Nuova Guinea, le isole Salomone, forse anche le Figji. Grazie a questo contiente emerso Wallace avrebbe spiegato il modo in cui i marsupiali raggiunsero l'Australia. La diatriba scientifica si incendiò negli anni precedenti al Congresso di Francoforte finchè alla discussione si aggiunse il geologo Haeckel il quale ammise che plausibilmente potesse essere esistito un "Ponte Contienetale" tra Africa, India e Australia nel periodo compreso tra il Permiano e il Nummolitico. Con l'avvento della teoria dei Ponti Continentali si rafforzò la possibilità dell'esistenza di Lemuria, tuttavia l'introduzione della teoria della Tettonica a Placche nel ventesimo secolo confutò le precedenti concezioni rimettendo in discussione la possibile scomparsa di Lemuria. In realtà la questione scientifica, che non giunse a negare completamente l'abissamento del continente perduto, si sovrappose alle considerazioni della nascente Società Teosofica Statunitense. La Teosofia si presenta come una ambiziosa associazione che si propone di sviluppare gli studi sulla culture e le conoscenze più antiche dei popoli, la Società Teosofica venne fondata dal Colonnello H.S. Olcott, costui era uno dei padri fondatori della nascente Costituzione Federale degli Stati Uniti. Secondo i Teosofici Lemuria ospitò la "Terza razza madre" e fu la culla del genere umano. Ho trovato questa citazione dal libro "Storia della Lemuria Sommersa" di W Scott Elliot che spiega a grandi linee la concezione dei Teosofici: "I corpi della prima razza madre, erano come giganteschi fantasmi, […] perché i loro corpi consistevano soltanto di materia astrale. Successivamente la prima razza madre venne dotata di un rivestimento più denso. I corpi della seconda razza madre erano definiti eterei e anch'essi erano invisibili alla vista. I corpi della terza razza madre finalmente solidi erano composti di gas, liquidi e materia. Le ossa erano molli come quelle dei bambini (infatti non potevano reggersi in piedi) e solo verso la metà della loro storia poterono godere di una struttura scheletrica più consistente. I lemuriani di questo periodo possedevano due occhi rudimentali davanti e uno dietro - detto terzo occhio o occhio astrale - corrispondente alla ghiandola pineale che serviva come centro della vista astrale e fisica. Verso la terza sotto-razza, il corpo gelatinoso dei lemuriani si solidificò ancor di più e divenne in seguito capace di tenere una struttura eretta e, grazie all'uso del terzo occhio e di una sporgenza nei talloni, di camminare avanti e indietro. Probabilmente verso la quinta sotto-razza si ha l'uomo lemuriano definitivo. Era alto dai tre metri e mezzo ai quattro metri e mezzo, aveva la pelle bruno giallastra, la mascella inferiore allungata, la faccia appiattita. Gli occhi piccoli, penetranti e distanti l'uno dall'altro, permettevano sia la vista in avanti che lateralmente, il terzo occhio dava la vista all'indietro. Al posto della fronte aveva un rotolo carnoso, la testa era inclinata all'indietro e le braccia erano sproporzionate rispetto alle nostre ed aveva mani e piedi enormi. Attorno alla testa aveva dei capelli corti ed era vestito con pelli. Nella mano sinistra teneva solitamente un bastone e nella destra conduceva con una corda una sorta di rettile simile al plesiosauro, quale aiuto per la caccia. La settima sotto-razza diede origine ad una razza superiore. Aveva sviluppato una sorta di fronte, la sporgenza dei talloni si era ridotta, la testa aveva una forma ad uovo ed era diminuita l'altezza e la grandezza delle membra. Questa fondò un'importante civiltà che durò migliaia di anni e dominò gran parte del continente di Lemuria". Proseguendo nella lettura scopro che i lemuriani, dopo aver solidificato il loro corpo, hanno costruito capanne e armi di legno con le quali cacciavano i dinosauri e di difendefano da essi. I lemuriani giunsero alla settima sotto-razza e costruirono imponenti città megalitiche, secondo le teorie dei Teosofici una di queste grandi città sarebbe sorta presso l'attuale Isola di Pasqua, le statue antropomorfe che là si trovano sarebbero opera dei lemuriani. La Società Teosofica sostiene che i lemuriani sarebbero divenuti gli artefici della città di Atlantide riferita da Platone. Secondo la Società Teosofica i lemuriani adoravano il sole e giunsero a dominare un impero molto più vasto rispetto alle concezioni geografiche di Lemuria. La fine dei lemuriani è dovuta alle esalazioni di fumi nocivi dovuti a eurzioni vulcaniche, il contiente non venne sommerso d'improvviso in seguito a un cataclisma ma dopo la morte dei lemuriani sprofondò lentamente negli abissi lasciando solo isole sparse al suo posto. Il mistero di Lemuria ha interessato le migliori menti del secolo scorso e ancora oggi possiede un fascino innegabile.
